Marula-Öl wird aus den Samen des afrikanischen Marula-Baums kalt gepresst und besteht zu ca. 78% aus Ölsäure – das macht es außergewöhnlich stabil und schnell einziehend („Trockenöl"). Mit einem hohen Gehalt an Vitamin E, Vitamin C und den Sterolen Campesterol und Stigmasterol wirkt es antioxidativ und barrierestärkend. Die Zusammensetzung ähnelt dem menschlichen Sebum, was es auch für Mischhaut gut verträglich macht. Traditional genutzt in Südafrika, heute gefragtes Luxus-Pflegeöl.
